A no brainer - getright.

Stardownloader works, but is a bit on the basic side. Its the only one I know of without spyware.

Thanks for the recommendations people, I'll have to try out Stardownloader (don't like GetRight).

Though I did find this nice little one after a bit of googling. It's free, GPL and uses wget to do the downloading. Rather basic though.

Tried just about all of them and it is a no brainer all right - Star Downloader by a mile.

I find download accelerator the best.
Hmm There was ads at the top of the program but its been removed by spybot.
Tried godzilla and getright too.Hmm they all seem the same. But i found download accelerator easily to use.
Netant is the worse i reckon

I use Leechget .. simple and no spyware.
Get it from here: http://www.leechget.net/en/

Time to try out leechget next I think. Stardownloader is nice but doesn't seem to have the ability to handle php redirects as for wackget, that was just a little TOO basic.

flashgets not bad as a browser/downloader, but best of all has to be reget deluxe, worth paying for i say :)

Seems as if leechget is rather nice, I'll stick with it for a while. Yeah the Opera downloader is nice but I'm not going to open up a browser just to use it's download manager.
