Hi Guys
I did a restore and all is well But I lost some data but that's ok I am slowly getting it back.
Does' but this time it was a dictionary. If I wanted a word's meaning I just highlighted it and it appeared in the dictionary window. Saved hours finding other words. A thesaurus was included.
Sorry it is such a pithy request But I do miss it lol

Could you clarify a little more where you had your dictionary? Was it a program you had downloaded or something that was part of Internet Explorer or something else?

This site which i use from time to time

http://dictionary.reference.com/

Has a toolbar that you can download and runs within your browser.

Haven't tried it myself (and i never will) but i do recall seeing it there.

Ah the joys of being a good speller.

The one that Jim suggested is brilliant.

What i meant by that is that i would never install a toolbar of any kind,I do believe that everyone on this forum can see just how poor my spelling and grammer are/is whatever.

Well I just downloaded Jims' one mostly for definitions and synonyms.

Works well and free too.

So much happiness.

er such as a box of fluffy's ? elephant?
box of what ever fluffy's that come to mind, um such as...ducks? cats? mice?

i may even install this little prog at some stage, for spelling and language articulation, :D

but as i dont want to jinx the machine just yet with too many changes will just favourite it for later,

just as long as my memory is remembering it i spose.

waffle, waffle....

Hey beetle - steady on with the proposed use of a dictionary. Sorting through your spelling and use of the Queen's English is part of my enjoyment of life.

Interesting. I tried to download this a couple of days ago but couldn't find the file. Used Internet Explorer with Google toolbar. No go.
Same deal this morning so decided to use Opera instead. Voila.

Why?

Cheers

I have the same results - Opera and Firebird will open that page but not Internet Explorer. Even after changing security and cookie settings it still will not load.
