Often when I switch on I get a message'Boot disk failure - Insert system disk & press enter'.I can also get this message if I have had the computer running for a while and I reboot. I insert a bootup disk & try to access C: & get a 'Invalid drive letter' message. In the BIOS the 2 hard drives are not recognised. I have run Ontrack's Hard Disk Advisor, but everything checks out fine, I rebooted after running that program and lost the drives again.System is a Gigabyte BX2000 motherboard, Celeron 400, 64MB ram. This was happening with thw previous motherboard but not so often. Can anyone throw some light as to why this is happening.
