html & xhtml whats the differance between the as i am going to try to make my on web site and have done a night course on html but have seen some books on xhtml
any thoughts

nah, i say go for xhtml. If you keep to transitonal its basically the same, you just have to close every tag.

eg.


instead of

<hr /> instead of <hr>
<img src"..." /> instead of <img src"...">

I like it better, and it keeps things nice and neat, especially if you use css with it.

CSS is really worth learning.
