How can a boss check his worker when the worker uses the work computer to go on Internet, and the worker deletes all the history files, can you look into the index.dat file found in the cookies folder to learn were the worker has been.

I know someone that got “grabbed” by internal affairs because the person went to a lot of sex sites, can a work company be in trouble by internal affairs because the worker is going to “xyz“ Internet sites.

I really don't know the legality of viewing porn in NZ, as long as it's not illegal then it should be alright.

However, business is different, and probably has or needs a policy on this as viewing porn in business times, affects the business, and also if what is viewed is illegal it'll fall back on the worker and the business. The business does not need that so they should just put in better measures. Best thing would do it in your own time, on your own machine, as this material can be found offensive by co-workers and nothing stops them bringing it up.

Index.dat can be viewed to find previous viewed sites, but it's not going to pinpoint who did it, you'd be better running snoopware but I'm all against prying on privacy, just run programs that are used for children to block this certain material, that way they can't view it, and they don't get themselves in trouble at all.
