Loaded Mandrake last night, all well except at the end of the load process the screen ended up as 50% of the size in the middle of the display.
In windows I would go to "Settings, Control panel, display" to rectify.

Where do I head in Linux, I'm using KDE as default GUI

Cheers Ian

It's a bit more fundamental. :D You will be using the "nv"driver in you W-Window server. You will need to get the proper driver from nVidia (http://www.nvidia.com/linux/). (I think that url's correct, but I can't test it from here).

I believe it's reasonably straightforward if you follow the instructions... the company want their products to work. :D (But I haven't had the problem :D)

I have the same video card in a Pentium III and it goes fine with the default Mandrake install (version 9.0 though). Although if you want to play 3D games, then get the nVidia drivers.

Note: You could go to the command line Ctrl-Alt-F1, login as root and run XFdrake and follow your nose.
