hi i'm having trouble connecting to a lan share when my Outpost Firewall (free Edition) is on
i use a 56k dial up
how do i configure outpost to leave my Lan card alone? or make it trust a set Lan IP address
i had a quick look online but came out more confused than ever

Hi sc0ut,

If you have a quick look at this comparison chart (http://www.agnitum.com/php_scripts/compare2.php) at the agnitum site it appears tp show that it isn't capable of having trusted addresses. It would seem that you would either have to upgrade to the Pro version or use a different one. :D

I found the same problem when I networked my PC's, Outpost would not allow a trusted IP address. I just downloaded and used instead Keiro Personal Firewall (http://www.kerio.com/kpf_download.html) which does allow trusted IP's etc.

Where there is two (or more) features described on the one line eg: Blocks Flash / Banner / Pop-up ads could be listed as + / - / + , meaning only flash and pop-ups are blocked for that product.
