I'd just like to suggest that you listen to your own advice there stu. :)

You may find that your idea is only going to look good to people who only have 56k, and people that don't have a subscription to PCW magazine or any other game magazines.

The magazines carry lots of game demos and people that have jetstart/jetstream can just log into JetStreamGames, get full speed access, and download all the new game demos available. They update the ftp quite regularly too.

Damn good idea(much better then the setting up a rival f1 site like your last effort).

As long as you have game demo's spanning back the last couple years then ill definitly grab a few cd's worth.

Point taken, although the website is optimised for 1024x768. What resolution are you running? Will fix this.

PS: Sorry for the double post

Susan B

It is not the resolution. The site has been coded for Internet Explorer. :-(

I agree! Sorry, but it looks a mess in Mozilla Firebird at 1024x768 resolution. I took a screenshot so that you could see what I mean, but unfortunately ImageF1 is not uploading images at the moment for some reason.

OK, I have now managed to upload it.

Example of site viewed in Mozilla Firebird here (http://sal.neoburn.net/imagef1/uploaded/website.jpg)

Oh well, that is kinda stink, but it is optimised for IE, and most people use IE so i have to cater for the majority,

Sorry

You have right had side scrolling in 800 X 600 (it did not have that before) & a lot of people do use 800 X 600 res.

It doesn't work in Opera either.

People hate having to change to Internet Explorer to view a website properly. It may be that you will lose lots of customers if you don't conform to web standards.

--
Poll:
Who here is using Opera,Mozilla etc and hates having a page not display correctly due to the webmaster not coding it properly??
--

What are you using to make ure website? I'm starting with StudioMX and usually anything made in there will work with any website.

I thought about this and decided that it is advertising and not really in the spirit of F1.
sorry.
