Hello every one

The other day one of my friends was asking me about Windows 2003 server.

so I am just wording if any one here know any thing about it or if any one had any problems with it e.g. like network problems / issues.

Windows 2003 Server (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=10517) is replacing some Linux boxes, then crashing every day.:^O

As with any new Microsoft Products, wait until it has been out for at least 6-8 months before purchasing/using, because then if there are any major problems with it there should be a fix available!!

I used it for a while, previewing rc 1 and 2...

It didnt like any of my ISA NIC's which sucked..

Was fast though... very fast...

But driver support for soundcards and graphics cards was minimal (Probably coz its meant to be a server and not a Desktop OS.. go figure ;-))

I agree about waiting 6-8 months though ;-)

Wait 6-8 months and it will be Server 2004 to worry about. :D Leave that for a full year, just in case ... and life should be trouble free.

I have it installed on 2 machines. One is a lowely P3 at 500Mhz with 256MB ram and it run fine on their.

It is very stable even though it is still only in a beta version that I got as part of the Office 2003 beta I am testing.
