Well.. its been long bugging me!

Ive downloaded/Installed the CVS for WIneX 3.10, and the RPM's and Tarballs for WineX 2.2-2 and 3.0

Now, even adding that LD_KERNEL_ASSUME line wont work at all for WineX.

Im running RedHat 9

Is there anything other than using the above line mentioned that might fix it?

Im sure its meant to work in WineX 3.10 under RedHat 9... and/or MDK 9.1 :-)

Cheers

Hmm... Maybe its not liking having so many different versions of it...

I downloaded and installed the Source for WINE last night (Not WineX), compiled it successfully and all, but it wont work either.

Could it be Ive installed too many different versions of the thing and its getting confused??

The LD_KERNAL_ASSUME command worked for me when I used Wine - don't know why I needed it, but Google yeilded the appropriate results and it seemed to work after that. I installed Wine off the RPM version from sourceforge's servers.
The error I get without it was that it couldn't find a folder /usr/bin/me/lsit or something like that, and it complained even more bitterly once I had manually made the folder...
Then I decided to see how good WineX was so I uninstalled Wine, and waited for my download of WineX to complete only to find that it was nice enough to have corrupted on it's way in.. Since then I haven't bothered trying again
