I need a program that can backup stuff to CD.

the system is runnig windows XP home.

I know I can just select the files and drag them to the CD drive then click burn but I want a idiot safe system.

what I would like is a system where I can setup a list of file or folders to backup , then just have a icon on the desktop, put CD in drive and one click later we are done.

the need for this is so my olds can do backup with out all the problems. they are very new computer users and still have problems with the basics so I dont want anything that needs a list of instructions for them.

I was think a *.bat file would be a way to copy the stuff to the CD drive but then how to make the *.bat tell windows to burn.....

is there a one step backup program out there?

I know that zip dirves come with a program like what I want but they only backup to zip disk :-)

any help would be nice.

BTW program must be free.

freeware / shareware is best, warez is not good.

Have a look here (http://www2.educ.umu.se/~cobian/prog.htm) as this can do complete (from files/directories) to just recording the changed items.
Put version 3 on a business PC and it automatically updates to a CDRW he has in the writer. He's happy as he doesn't have to remember, and it was free.

Why not download the trial versions of Nero, and use that. Then if u like it buy it. It's an awsome program, i recomend it.
