View Full Version : SuperDisk diskette - getting rid of corrupted files

I have a problem with corrupted data on an Imation LS-120 SuperDisk 120MB diskette: I can't get rid of one folder (which suddenly contains over 1000 sub-folders with garbled file names/dates etc.). Deleting/renaming etc. is all rejected with 'cannot access file path/invalid path' and similar messages. The file sizes are garbled as well (into the gigabytes), but this doesn't appear to affect access to and correct reading of other folders/files on this diskette.
How can I clear up this mess? Is just one sector of the diskette corrupted, or is this likely to be caused by a faulty SuperDisk drive? I haven't lost any data before, even though the drive regularly causes Windows to freeze.
