Hey, I know what your thinking, the stupid one is back with now an even dumber problem!
Well here it is anyway
I have incredimail, and it is my default server, I want outlook express to be my default server, HOW do I change this back so incredimail is separate to outlook express?
Thanx again - damsel in distress

Hi - If you log into outlook express it asked you at the start - outlook express is not your default mail client - do you want this to be your default account - click on yes

In outlook express click on Tools > Options > General tab. At the bottom are the options you need.

Delete incredimail if you have any more probs, most people I know are,due to not being happy with it.
You can alway re download it if you want to.

how about open incred go to tools, > options> general> untick make default, and then set check for mail every 0 mins,

open outlook i think by clicking on > tools > options default.

it will come up, outlook is not your default email,
set as default,

you can still send mail by incred you just disable it for checking for mail.

but i could be wrong but this is how i changed mine.

Hi LiL Miss Amber,

No questions are stupid or dumb on this Forum!

To get to Outlet Express you will need to open Internet Explorer first!
Then try Tools/Internet Options/Programs/E-Mail, and then scroll to
Outlook Express!

This is how it is on W98,but it may be different on othes OS's

Hope this helps,Cheers,Kiwitas,;-)

Deleting Incredimail completely is not easy.

Luckily I have not used it, but some friends have, and found it troublesome.

It does not give an option to export the mails to another program. The option in add/remove programs, does remove it completely.

Check out a Google search for : Incredimail uninstall.

You don't need IE open to get Outlook Express, just go to the Start/Programs menu and open from there. I have access to Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express from icons on my desktop and IE doesn't even get a look in.

I realise that Billy T,just my bad wording that you {b]have[/b]
to open IE!

Just thought it was an alternative as L M Amber seemed to be having
trouble opening OE,and she/he,would find it under Tools/Internet
Options.
