Hi all - I've missed a few days (maybe a week) and was wondering how Godfather was.
Last I heard of him he wasn't feeling too well after his medication - so can someone let me know how he is please :|

Last I heard he was on the final stages (2 days to go) of treatment, and feeling lower than a snakes belly.
But of course thats just hearsay.

Worries me a bit Nomad1, that you are posting while at work.....

But thanks for thinking of me, life is very unpleasant at the moment.

Well I hope it helps a little to know that a lot of people have you in their thoughts and are willing you through this bad patch in your life.

Hang in there - not long now and it can only get better. :-)

Godfather - it was during my lunchtime - why would it be a worry?

Glad to see that you still with us - but sad to hear that you're still not very well.
I know that your treatment is for something that isn't very nice - but it would be good to see you (reads "read you") feeling a lot better.

Should be back to 100% in about 3 weeks.
My hair will grow back a bit later....we hope!

Which office are you based at Nomad1?

:-) Hope your feeling better soon :-)

Hi Godfather,

Haven't been around lately but dropped in for a minute. Good to hear you're surving the treatment - I'd been wondering how you were getting on.

"Lower than a snake's belly" - All warm and squishy in the soothing mud?

Good. Sense of humour still intact - things could be worse.

Best wishes,

Good to hear that you're still coping Godfather.

Godfather. It distresses me to read of your plight. Underwent something similar 3 years ago, with a metastasis 1 year following,
(1) Neuroendocrine tumor, nasal cavety.
Treatment:- 6 months, Cisplatin & Etopaside...followed by a month under the 'griller'
(2) Lymphoma, Neck. This bout just took another month under the 'griller'
But, that was 2 years ago now & I'm on 6 month checks.
What I'm getting at here is that you're not on your own & it sounds like you're pretty well through the treatment ..
.Bit hard on the tummy though, eh!
I wish you all the best.

Just curious, as I do visit a couple of the locations from time to time. Would have taken the opportunity to say Hi.
Nothing sinister!

Nomad1

So if I said not the top one or the bottom one - who do you come to visit here?

Nomad1

He doesn't play silly games,he leaves that to me and my ilk.

Thomas - Godfather asked me a question and I replied in a way that only himself and I would know what I was talking about.
And so far your hat is safe

Trying to think of how I could reply without putting names on the forum, something I would not do.

And you are right Nomad1, I think I know where your location is by that clue.

I will be in that town (but for another reason) middle of the month.

It used to be a pain to visit your location before, but if I am right you are close in now?

Nomad1
03-06-2003, 01:31 PM
Yes Godfather - this location is a lot closer than our one "pre march" - except it is further from home and now I have to catch a train instead of driving to work.
Thanks for your reply - guess Thomas will be wantins some sauce for his hat now 'lol'.

Take care

Nomad1

Thomas - how is the hat going?
The reason that you might have missed what was going on - is that in a previous thread (ages ago now) Godfather guessed the company that I work for and as he is in an affiliated line of work he asked for the location.

See now everyone is happy :D

Thanks Nomad1.

Perhaps Thomas should use the name "Doubting Thomas"?
I rarely respond to some types of threads, but some things just must be done....

Or these may make you smile too !!

A teacher collected well-know proverbs. She gave each of her 7-year old students in her class the first half of a proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb.

Priceless Misty :)

Hey Thomas. There's another possibility re the allowance for swearing, when the sauce runs out with one more succulent morsel of hat to chew. Mind you the words won't tend to flow so well. Bon Appetite ;)
