Now you just need to make a PHP script that works out how much you owe your ISP for excess data :D

May 13 2003 International traffic 64 MB 0.00 + GST

May 17 2003 International traffic 11 MB 0.00 + GST
May 18 2003 International traffic 112 MB 0.00 + GST
May 19 2003 International traffic 15 MB 0.00 + GST

12 Gig international cap.... I'm just getting my moneys worth :D

BTW I wouldn't mind a php script that checks how much I have used, then logs into my router and changes the connection over!

Have a cap of 10GB per month and us it all. Could very easily double or tripple it without trouble.

I use between 8 and 9 gig a month.. i have a 10gig cap....

BTW... Does anybody get any benifit from free national traffic? I only use a few hunderd megabytes of national at the most... would hardly impact even if it wasnt free =/

I have used 1.5GB in one week. I use the free national traffic sometimes for downloading Linux ISOs from New Zealand mirrors (although there aren't very many).

kiwistag

Most I've used would be about 15GB, however 6GB was national at that stage.

Usually per month I'm between 4-8GB

I got a normal 10 gb limit via jetstart.net.nz. dont know how to split into national/international. the only way to check it for me is to go to telecom's jetstream page.

IS there any other way to check it?

I keep an eye on the usage in school holidays, becasue flatmate and I play online games. I dont want to pay extra for that.

if your isp doesnt charge for National traffic then

Telecoms Usage Meter - ISP Usage Meter = National Traffic :)

I would love to tell but I do not know.... (Need to ask dad.)

All I know is that we have never got near the 10 GB International traffic cap since we got Jetstart. (I think not too sure…need to ask dad.)

One thing I do know if once (before the caps) I moved a GB of traffic (I think, not too sure........)

For that comment about the national traffic, try this site:

http://www.p2p.net.nz < - - - Download DC++. It is a Kazaa for New zealand (it counts as national traffic). :)

PoWa

with that dc++ I can't figure out how to download off anyone! Can you tell me how the thing works? Every time I click on a file, it won't start downloading (maybe not enough people with open spots or something???)

Last month we used 9200mb/10GB (including about 1700 national which is charged at 1/10 for paradise users. I wasnt too happy bout that - I wasted 800mb! (coulda gone on downloading a divX movie aha)

this month we've got 7700 international mb left and 16days to use it!! Time to fire up kazaaa!!!!!!! :D

Gulp :8}

I guess I'm not in the hunt :(

Jetstream with 500MB cap

Max monthly usage 442MB

Average around 380MB

I need to play more :(

Cheers

My cap on Jetstream Starter with Telecom is 5,000 Mg. I use a small fraction of that because most of my stuff is in NZ which is free. I upload photos to my albums on HP website, look at BBC, The Scotsman, The Age occasionally and am on Friends Reunited but not much else. Problem is time but would certainly like to do more. Can I give away some ?
- - - - - However number one son has not latched on yet !! Maybe the problem will solve itself !!

I can't believe how much you all use! I am on starter with Paradise. 10 gig total, national charged at 1/10.

First month 1.5gig
Second month 1.3 gig
So far this month (15/5 to 14/6) 350meg

I am enjoying the Jetstream games realm which isnt charged, however even connecting to the Xtra and Gameplanet servers (charged at 1/10) doesn't impact too much on my traffic, I was worried it would, and suprised how litle it was in fact.

A few mp3's and music videos all add to my total, but wow - what do you all download to use 10 gigs?

Good point, maybe you should all bring your PC's over to my place, and then we can all show each other exactly what we have downloaded ;):D

try right clicking the desktop, go 'arrange icons by' then look down the list and make sure "show desktop items" is ticked. Hope that works :p

Easiest way to use up your monthly 10Gb, is to surf to:

http://www.fasttrackmovies.com

find 10 movies you want to see, click the dig2dat links for each which will transport the signature data to kazaalite k++ edition, and then open kazaalite and it will start downloading the movies!! Leave the comp on all-day and all-night for about a week, and you should have some v.high quality free movies.

That method should use up about 7Gb ;)

Sometimes the site can go offline, hapened a few times. I think the RIAA or whoever attacks it ahah. Let us p2p users have our movies! ;)

Man.. I dunno how some of you can keep your downloads so low!

A couple of hundred megs?

Man, Ive been connected on Dial-Up (Slow as anything coz of the extention cable) for 23 minutes and have downloaded nearly 6 megs already and sent almost 4!

If I had JetStream Starter, that'd shoot up VERY quickly! Right now Im the only one on the connection.. Just wait til the rest of the family wake up and see the PC is conected to the web (Im a LAN client on ICS), then it'll slow down even more!

*Mutters about a few hundred megs...*

;-)

Cheers
