My old P166MMX MB died with boot rom failure :-(
I still have the case and power supply - which could easily be removed.

I'm in lower North Island tho.

Most computer shops should have a few old ATs lying around, or failing that, look in the free section of Trade & Exchange for ancient computers.

School fairs & garage sales can get you 286's and the occasional 8088 without even an HDD so there is no shortage of vintage parts.

Mmm. My problem at the moment is a floppy for a laptop. :_| I've actually go one whicjh will fit (just ...), but the flexcable on the dud one goes through 360 degrees to change the pitch, and make an offset to the socket on the motherboard. The other, working, drive has a short cable which comes out straight (and is soldered to the drive control card). I hate dismantling laptops. They hide screws in the worst places. There's always one you find just before you look for an axe.
