View Full Version : mouse problems

Hi, I have a problem with my mouse. Well not my mouse, my on screen cursor. It goes nuts accross the screen at random times. I know its not the mouse itself as I have tried cleaning, and also replacing the mouse with another unit.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

or maybe something using the same irq as the mouse etc... we need more info like is the mouse USB? serial/ps2? what type of mouse is it? optical or ball? and your operating system ie: windows 3.1 or *nix?

it may be spy ware or a trogan

O.T=Lazer mice do this when they go from a dark surface to a light surface

I don't suppose you have any friends that like to play tricks do you?

There are simple ways to sabotage someones computer to make the mouse do strange things, just for a laugh.

If it was an April 1st prank, I guess they would have owned up to it by now though.

Sorry can't help further.

Cheers :)
