View Full Version : Installing XP instead of ME

Hi guys, How do I install XP on my pc without partitioning the HDD?
My OS is, at the moment, Windows ME, but I'd like to get rid of it and install windows XP professional instead.
What do I have to do?
Your thoughts (instructions) will be much appreciated.

To do a clean install check out FAQ #33 (http://pressf1.pcworld.co.nz/thread.jsp?forum=1&thread=21541)

As you appear to be using an upgrade version you will need to dig out your original ME disk as normally the upgrade will ask for proof of an original OS
