Can anyone tell me how to get the spell check in Word to change the mis-spelling of a word when it has been mis-spelled a number of times in a document? There is an 'ignore all' command, but no 'change all' command. Can this be done?

under options and ( from memory ) dictionary look for "autocorrect" as you have found out it's not in the spellcheck options when running a spellcheck ( ie: hitting F7 to start the spellcheck )

Otherwise use edit>replace>replace all.

It can be faster than fighting your way through the spell checker labyrinth.

I use find and replace in Word if the SAME word has been mis-spelled multiple times in the one document.

Say I use "realize" instead of "realise" throughout the whole document.

Find "realize" and replace with "realise"

This won't help a mis-spelled "realiez" though.
