They are fine though a bit bulky, but is that a new or second hand price?

Well, you can buy a new router & 4 port hub now for under $300 so that price is probably a bit high. I know they cost a lot more when new, but the market dictates the resale value.

If you pay the full asking price, it had better come with all its documentation etc.

Hi

Have you looked at trademe and pricespy? trademe will give you a good idea of 2nd hand pricing. Be aware tho that many people have an inflated view of what their product is worth based usually on what they paid for it. So, be patient if buying 2nd hand. For something like the M1122 you may have to check trademe or whatever out for 2-3 weeks to get enough sellers to base your research on. The all in one type seem to go for pretty good $$ tho, as Billy says, may be more cost effective (and flexable) to buy a modem/router + a switch (bout $70-100, 4 to 8 port). Go with a switch not a hub, which is another reason to avoid the all in one, most 2nd hand will have hubs not switches.

All the above assumes you want to network and share your connection? If you don't want to you shouldn,t have to spend much more than $150-.

They are very good routers, and that is a fair price for one. You can use IPSEC or PPTP through them, and they work well on connections that are far from the exchange.
