Which cards are cost effective and work well?
I've seen cards from $160 to 200 as well as $800 with a break out box (Pinncle).

Thoughts and experiences.
Thanks

Our school prefered standalone editors, such as Cassablanca/Avio.

These are about $2000-4000. These work very well, and are very easy to use, but still very powerful.

I haven't used a computer-based editor properly to edit film before, so I can't offer too much advice based on my experience (or lack of :D)
