Until recently I could access my hotmail account through outlook expressbut then I get message telling me to check my settings. But if I go to hotmail through IE 6 I get told that I am using an oudated browser so I installed SP1 and still got the same message. I uninstalled IE6 and reverted to 5.5 and still got the same message. Since this never occurred before it seems to me that there is a problem in the registry. Can anybody help me out. I do not have this problem with Mozilla or netscape 7 I don`t use IE at all but just want outlook express working properly again.

sounds like your browser user-agent has been changed. sorry havn't got a url at the mo of a site to test it.

Delete your hotmail accounts out of Outlook Express and add/set them up again.
