I've been given an unopened copy of Win NT4 Workstation. It comes with SP4. I hope to install it on a Dell CPI laptop but I have heard that it doesn't have USB support, which could be a shame as I have a Dynalink USB modem which I use on this machine. Is there anything or anyway that USB support can be made to work with NT4? I've got SP6a on a magazine disk, but I've no idea what it comprises.

Guess you could use something like this (http://store.bsquare.com/catalog/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog&parent_id=127). Or alternatively, how about using a PS2 -> USB adapter to run the modem off? (Thats off the top of my head, I have no idea if that will work - but worth a go, right?)

Running a modem from a keyboad port??

Could prove to be interesting.... ;-)

I'm an idiot... "end of story" ;)
