Isn't there a version of Mandrake 9 on some magazine cover this month? And if it's not a magazine, I know there's a small publications book which is kinda like a guide to installing and the basics of using Linux, and one of them has Mandrake 9.0 on it, though, because it's air freighted from Australia, it costs around $30. Have a look in the magazine sections of a Whitcoulls store or something, they might have something there.

That would be the APC magazine... Nov Issue I think :-)

You're possibly better off to go to trademe, as you can pick them up for $5-10 + P&P

Australian PC Magazine (Check through the threads here for Chillings thread about it) has Mandrake on the cover disk this month

Have a look in some of the specialist book shops as Agent suggests.

www.copyleft.co.nz are one of the suppliers of GNU/Linux CD-Roms (based in Dunedin)

This month's APC has the whole of the issues for last year on a CD. Unfortunately, the CDs which came with those issues are not included. ;-)

For those interested in Linux, it has also their "Advanced Linux Pocket Book" one of this month's CDs. It looks quite good.

The Mandrake came with the November issue. (Back issues are available ... but it might cost less to get copies of the CDs locally).

I have the Mandrake 9 Linux from the November APC here.

I can burn copies if you want.
