hi everyone

I have RC2 windows.net and tried to install Exchange 2000
This comes up as not supported, and I guess this is because of the new active directory in .net
Does anyone know if Exchange 2000 will ever work on .Net (I know Exchange 2003 beta is out now)

I wouldnt be too sure, but I do know that .NET is built on the .NET framework (Obviously) and so a lot of things work differently/dont work at all :-)

I would suggest mailing MS, but dont forget that YOU are doing BETA testing.. AKA - Its not a perfect product ready for public release yet! They only do a FAQ somewhere... no other help AFAIK!

thanks chilling
To get exchange 5.5 working on windows 2000 you have to apply an active directory connector so I guess I need to find one of those for .net

I had problems with .NET, but it was sound.. :( And graphics drivers...
nVidia and Creative havent got any... So there's standard MS ones for my GF4 and NONE for my onboard AC '97 soundcard or my SB!Live Creative SB! :'(

BTW, The drivers are the only reason I decided to ditch it and try out linux, otherwise, Its a great OS, nice and fast and easy to use!
Not so much eye candy either.. I thought that XP's defaults were a bit of overkill, but this is quite nice.
I cant wait til there's a .NET Framework based Home OS! If its anything like the server, speed and stability wise, then its gonna be good :D

Hey just wanted to know If the Windows.NT 2003 RC2 is the last version out before the final product is released?

Will there be any RC3 out or the next one will be the final version out.

I think they do have plans for RC3, but I cant be too sure.

I know some of the powers that be at M$ who said that probably yes, there will be another!
