Hey

[combined] System resources refers to your ram, virtual memory, kernal, processor and all sorts of stuff. So when it says you have 70% free I would say it's referring to the combined usage of your ram (and virtual memory), processor, and maybe the kernal...

So I would take that to mean that I would have plenty of room to open up a dozen more programs before the machine ground to a halt... :D

Ron, you might also find this site SYSTEM RESOURCES FAQ (http://www.aumha.org/a/resource.htm) of interest as well.

Susan, it depends on the programs you open up - some programs would only allow you to open up one more program before your machine grinds to a halt :p
