Hi

I been thinking about this for a long time, please help :)

Why is PCI graphic cards are always more expansive than AGP cards? Isn't AGP cards faster than PCI graphic cards and doesn't AGP cards have larger MB of RAM than PCI graphics cards? I know now days PCI graphic cards can support up 12MB of RAM as well but why is it more expansive than AGP cards? I mean, I could get an AGP 64MB MMX440 card for a price of $90 where if I get a PCI graphic cards of the same type it probably cost well over $120 ?:| .

So what's the deal about PCI graphic cards costing more than AGP cards?

Thanks alot :)

Lower numbers sold, therefore more expensive to produce. Lack of economies of scale.
