I got some help on it yesterday, and today its even worse. We got it installed in the slot OK, then we start up the comp and put the CD in the drive. After installing the drivers it restarts and then it comes up with error messages, the .dll files were missing. So we went and downloaded the latest drivers from nVidia's site, those didn't work either. Now, when we started up it froze on the image of the windows logo with the blue-white bar at the bottom which moves, then it freezes, however the computer still carries on, we just can't see it. I can close it down using the keyboard and so forth. We took it out and the comp works fine again. Its a TNT2 M64 32meg PCI, and we are taking it back tommorow. Hopefully a different one will work, and if it doesn't, does anyone have a 32 meg they want to sell me for $100 or less? That actually works?

did you disable the existing onboard video or are you setting it up as a dual video?

Check the BIOS

You might have to disable the motherboard video

And now, checking how much memory left on my HD, for some odd reason the driver CD had the combat flight simulator icon... odd.

uninstall nvidia drivers, clean out any leftovers and install the latest ones.
