Has anyone found that Clear seems to have slowed down since we had to change to the 0867 number? Don't know if my puter decided to go on a go slow as it wasn't turned on for two weeks, as we were on holiday, or if when I changed to that number, telecom heard about it and just put me on a go slow. LOL

Try changing back to the old number (it'll still work for another week or so) and see if there's a difference. I bet there will be - my connections have been shocking since switching to the 0867 number, and I've been disconnected many times out-of-the-blue as well (was very rarely disconnected on the old local-call number).

I forgot to add - my father also uses Clear.Net and he's been moaning about the connection problems he's been having since I switched him to the 0867 number as well - so that's 3 of us that have had the same problem since changing.

Look on your Clear.Net bill - it should be on there?

I've noticed no difference since changing a couple of weeks ago. Sorry to poo-hoo your ideas, but it could still be a locality thing! I'm 1hr inland from chch and the old exchange no. was only 15 mins away...

Just read this thread, changed my diallup number, restarted and found no change in performance. Hope it stays like that. I'm in Hamilton.
