I've got a column being added up, and then I want to add GST to the cell underneath, so it;s like this:
=SUM(C2:C14)
is in C15 and then in C16 I want C15 + 12.5%
How would I do that?

Cheers

or
=c15*(12.5%)

or
=c15*(12.5%)

Actually that won't work. If c15=100 then your formula returns 12.5

or
=c15*(12.5%)+c15 would work though. :-)

=c15*1.125 is the way I do it.

=Round(c15*1.125,2)

better still:
=Round(c15*(1+GST),2)
where GST is a named range with .125 in it so you can change the rate when required.

need to round to two decimal places to ensure no nasty surprises if things don't add later.

In c16 enter =sum(c15/8+c15) if you want add the gst to a total divide by 8
if you want to remove the gst from a total divide by 9
hope this helps.
