Perhaps you installed a 'freeware/shareware' software package that installs a bad version of this file.

There is a working version at Morgan Multimedia (http://www.morgan-multimedia.com/mmswitch). If that doesn't work for you, run "regsvr32 /u mmswitch.ax" to unregister that file, then rename "mmswitch.ax" on your system to stop the crashing.

If that fails and you havn't installed any progs on your computer in the last 2 weeks, then use system restore to go back to a point when everything was fine

Thanks Babe & Rufus! I didn't know how to run "regsvr32" so i tried system restore and went back to 3/11 and all is working.
Thanks again.

No problem, Reoman, glad to hear that you got your system solved.

In regard to my comment regarding regsvr32 you would have to have run that command from a COMMAND Prompt or use the RUN command (wasn't sure your OS version etc). So if it happens again you've got the methods sussed.

Cheers, Babe.
