Well I'm here again with some more news, hopefully I can successfully not put those blank lines in this time :)

Nvidia Virtual Skipper 2
With Virtual Skipper 2, take control of a 24 ft. boat or of a 70 ft. racer and challenge the best skippers in the world! Virtual Skipper, the 1st true 3D regatta simulator, allows you to steer and tack to win. Follow the wind shifts, use the breezes; lulls and currents are all faithfully reproduced on the most prestigious stretches of water in the world. Play in single mode against the computer or in multiplayer mode, on the Internet or on LAN, to face real opponents. You really will need nerves of steel!
Grab it here (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=games_vskipper2).

TVTool v6.8.2
The tool helps with the TV ouput of Nvidia graphic cards. The main problem is the black borders around the picture on the TV screen. They are very annoying for most applications like e.G. DVD-playback. This tool helps getting rid of those bars...

What's New?

The help file for version 6.8 is ready and can be found in the download section. Also a bug in TVTool was fixed which caused a stroboscope effect on some cards with the CX25871 TV chip. The demo and the full version (for registered users) have been updated. The Turkish and the Ukraine language files have been added, too.
You can grab it here (http://tvtool.info/english/download_e.htm)

SiSoftware Sandra 2003
One of the best benchmarking utilities has just brought out a new version with added support for AGP 3 (8x) and Intel's new Hyperthreading chipsets as well as VIA's KT400. It's available in a free version and a paid one with a few extra features.Grab it from this site (http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/index.php?location=sware).

WinRAR 3.10 Beta 3
has been released which is a very good program for RARing files. In a lot of cases a rar will be smaller than the equivalent zip file. Available here. (http://www.fileconnect.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=2816)

Great new(ish) NZ based chat site
This is a chat site which was set up by a member of PressF1 so that people can get PC help instantly, or just to have a wee chat at times. Please pop in to ChatF1 (http://www.chatf1.net.nz) at some stage. It can be rather lonely sometimes :_|

Why Free Software's Long Run TCO must be lower
Go here (http://www.linuxandmain.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=281) for a read about why.

The INQUIRER guide to installing Linux
The Inquirer (http://www.theinquirer.net) has posted up it's fourth part of their guide on installing Linux. Have a read (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=6162).

Til next time :)

TVTool is one impressive piece of software.

A pity that Nvidia didn't just provide drivers with usable tv-out though :(
