All i need to know is how to setup RedHat 8 as a client on my home network. So i can share the internet with redhat8.
The links say a lot about windows but not alot about linux.

Use the same settings as the manual setup for windows (http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/ics/icsclient_tcpip_manual.htm), but enter them in either redhats supplies config programme (assuming they have one) or thru linuxconf.

It probably easier to set the Linux up as a client. The XP is the gateway, and you will want to set the ISP's DNS server addresses too. (possibly after any you might have set in a Linux type network). linuconf will lead you through it.
