For Grisoft AV users,

There is a small patch available as a lot of clients had problems

with corrupted files in last update.(It didn't seem to be as much of a problem in the Pacific as it was in the US)

It was so small I didn't even have time to see how big it was?

PS; To R.M.,this may fix your probs??

Cheers,Kiwitas,;-)

Hiya Kiwitas

How do I know if I need to install it?

Thanks for that Kiwitas - but no it doesn't really. So I am stuck with a fairly slow boot up until the big son gets back from the UK. He starts on his way tomorrow - hooray! But not back home until Xmas.

If you're talking about Update version 399, it has been discarded by GriSoft because it was having troubles with some AVG users running WIndows XP.

They said they'll release a new update (Identical to 399 but hopefully without problems) soon.

Hello Kiwitas,

Thanks very much for confirming that AVG had a problem,
I had been trialing Kazaa before I updated AVG, and when all hell broke
loose, and I wasnt sure which one caused the problems.

I appreciate your update messages as well

cheers,
Bob
