Hi
I really hope I'm not a bother on this forum, you know...asking too many questions... :( While here's the question, will my computer reformat itself when I upgrade my motherboard and CPU?
Thanks alot :)

no it sure won't do it by itself
if you are getting a new motherboard I'd be inclined to do it anyway though... to get rid of all the old drivers, make sure everything is optimised, blah blah.

NO! but you my have to do it your self and reinstall windows so it will run ok with you new hardware.

Loser we posted at the same time with the same advice, what do they say about great minds think a like.
they also say that fools never differ ;) - but I'll leave it up to you to decide which category you fit into :D
Mike.
Of course some versions of Windows will throw an absolute wobbly if you don't reformat.
Windows XP shouldn't have any problem with the hardware change (except you might need to reactivate it), and probably won't need a reformat.
