Hey all, just wanting to know how I can remove a program...
It affects my MSN Messenger, which probally heaps of people know about...

When i turn on my computer, everything starts up properly, until just a few seconds later... It pops up with an illegal operation... I'll post again later, when I find out the details in the pop up... I THINK it has something to do with one of the programs I have got. I close the illegal operation and nothing else happens... BUT, when I press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, it says "Form1 [Not Responding]". I have no idea what is Form1... and this is what I want to find out...

If anyone out there knows how to find out what this program is, I would really appreciate it if you posted here, so I can find the program and delete it immediately...

Then I can go back and start chatting again :)

Hehe..

Thanks in advance...

I've tried to click on "End Task" but it freezes my computer... So I am FORCED to restart :(

Here is the stuff that i get in the illegal operation pop up that i mentioned before...

You can see that the underlined is the difference between the two pop ups i got at the same time...

I hope I can resolve this soon...

Thanks

So what's the program that's causing MSN to stop working? All I can gather from your information is that MSN Messenger is causing problems of its own... (MSMSGS.EXE is MSN Messenger).

Hey, I just re-installed it... and it worked... I thought that I couldn't re-install it, but it works now... But one thing I still need an answer for... How do I find out what that "Form1" program is? Is there a way? I hope there is... If you know, please let me know ASAP ;)

Form1 sounds like someones attempt at a program using something like Visual Basic, which would name the main form as Form1 unless the user changes it - and so would appear in Task Manager as "Form1". So no idea what it really could be.

yeah, theres this lame trick you can play on people, where you can chuck together a programm made in visual basic that looks like messenger, so who ever gos to use it enters their details (eg. user email and password) but instead of logging them into messenger, it actually logs their details to a .txt file for later retrieval.
most probably a mate or someone set it up on your computer
