PLEASE HELP!
I have the sims (first) House party Explanation pack and recently installed The sims unleashed, the sims wont work and now where it has the splash screen (win startup) its over halfway across the screen

If you're wanting help regarding your screen, we'll need to know what model video card you've got, and what resolution you're trying to run the game on.

I have know idea what graphics card it is but in control panel it says Intel(r) 80810 graphics controller properties. and the monitor is a HP Pavilion MX70 Multimedia 17 inch display set to 1024x768 High color

First try updating Direct X to version 8.1 (from MS site) to see if it helps.

The 810 graphics chipset is a bit of a dog really so if the above does not work try finding new drivers on the HP site for your graphics chipset. If (as I expect) these drivers are to old they may not fix it either in which case you should go to the Intel site and download drivers for the 810 graphics chipset (reference drivers) and install those instead.
