Does anyone know if it is possible to customise how word does its spell checking??

I have quite a few sections in the body of my document that I do not need to spell check (they contain source-code and sql queries), each of these sections is formatted to a style I have set up to differentiate these from the rest of the document, called Query.

I would like to be able to set up word so that it does not spell-check anything in the style Query, as my document is near to 60 pages, and most of them have 20 or so lines in the Query style.

Is this possible? Is this a stupid question?

If not, can I write a macro or vb-script or some such to implement my own spell checker??

Any assistance appreciated,

ps. I thought pressf1 was a New Zealand site?? If so, why does it tell me customise should have a "z" when I run a spell check on this post????

From Word Help:

To skip text during a spelling and grammar check:

Select the text that you don't want to check.
On the Tools menu, point to Language, and then click Set Language.
Select the Do not check spelling or grammar check box.
