View Full Version : Windows 95 start up problem

I have a cyrix 6x86 p166 processor.32mb RAM.I can't get windows to load on start up.It just reboots after showing the windows 95 screen. It starts ok in 'Safe Mode'.When I go through the step-by-step confirmation process it will only start windows properly using the 'Boot B' option, which doesn't load the Config.sys or Autoexec.bat files. This would suggest a problem with a driver or TSR loading in the Config.sys or Autoexec.bat file.Microsoft support says you can pinpoint the problem by stepping through these files. How do I do this as I am not an experienced user ?.Also I created a 'Start-up' disk,so how do I load windows 95 when it goes to a A:/ command prompt?Any suggestions would be much appreciated
