HI, I got stuck when I tried to install the video card driver for a Matrox (MGA-G100A-E 9818KU222) AGP video card on a PII 350 machine. OS is winme and I downloaded the driver from Driverguide.com.

The problem is the driver I download was a .DRV file while winme kept looking for a *.inf file to install the driver, so I got no idea how to get around this.

Can anybody tell me how you install some video card drivers without having the *.inf file? (I know sometimes they do have these kind of drivers.)

Cheers!

Try using the G100 series driver from matrox site. It says WinME driver is on the way but you can try Win98 one.

As for the .drv file. i dont know on it. GF or the other brilliant techies of this forum can tell you on that.

Cheers
