Hi, does this mean that the site in question has been accessed? It appeared at the bottom of an Email message. Or is it just spam?

I know not to reply to get taken off the list as it confirms a valid address.
Thanks
Pauline.

It is just spam. Receiving such and email with a footer like that does not mean a damn thing. I get them into our webmaster email address (which is only used for in-wards mail, not outwards, and NEVER used to sign up for anytning).

So rest assured, this does not mean a family member has been going where they should not, it just means your email address has found it's way into a spam list and you can expect more of the same.

Just DONT reply to it, that usually will notify them that your address is valid and you'll get more, bad idea replying.

Although there are some cases when it does work, it's best to ignore it!

Search the Net for "Mailwasher"
Read about it in PCWorld.

Cheers,
