winXP Virtual Machine...probs w/ it

Hey ....i havwe installed the virtual machine in winXP but always wen i install that it just WONT work when the internet explorer is asked to Open in a New Window. It just opens the window but it stays see through with the border and NOTHING happens in it...What do i do?
