Does anyone know how i can completely flush out my entire system, i mean clean it up and put it back to its original settings?

I've done defrag, scandisk and all that, but it still comes up with errors and is pretty slow, i still want to keep all the stuff i have on it now though.....

thx, ben

back up all the stuff you want to keep and reformat, then reinstall windows.

you will need your windows CD and all driver CD's before you start.

I think there is a FAQ around the board that has more info.

you can only clean it up so far ,I use Fix-it Norton 2002 and pestpatrol and diskeeper to defrag , ad-aware and windowwasher and regcleaner are good as well.

Goback is excellent as well for unfixing errors
GoBack allows you to revert the entire hard drive to virtually any moment in the recent past five minutes, five hours, even five days ago. You can also retrieve individual files or directories; even those emptied from the Recycle Bin.
