Its my 40th in a day or 3, and i am celebrating with a wee Party (http://www.something.net.nz/forty-hip.htm)in CHCH at the media club.
3 earbashing bands, probable guests, a DJ and to make it possible there's a $5 covercharge.

The media club is one of CHCHs better kept secrets, its an annonamous large brick building just behind the TUC building corner amagh/madras. From the outside it looks a bit like a condemned warehouse.. but on the inside , it a really huge, well eqipped, freindly, bar. The main room is huge, but stage is a tad small. I was really lucky to be offered the use of the room.
