I use a HP laserjet 5L as my primary printer, it is connected via a rotary Data Transfer Switch along with two others (Panasonic KX-P2023 & Canon BJC 4550). Recently I tried to print an e-mail, but got an apparently silly error message about being unable to process text. I printed a test page and was told that I had correctly installed my "Absolutely Bogus WPS Printer Driver"! I cured the problem by removing the printer and reinstalling. I have Norton System Works 2000, which is kept up to date. Can anyone tell me where the driver came from and what can be done to prevent it in future?

Look at this link here.

believe it or not its an "easter egg" (a bit of fun or a surprise programmed into an application) in a windows file. To remove it follow the link below. Lots of information on the web regarding this, simply type "Absolutely Bogus WPS Printer Driver" into the search engine at www.google.co.nz for all the goss.
