Hey guys I've put together a couple of simple site of the week pics, tell me which one you like best and/or what changes I should make to it.

sotw pic (http://liquid2k.com/computerlinks/pics/sotw.gif)

sotw pic 1 (http://liquid2k.com/computerlinks/pics/sotw1.gif)

This will go in place of the top right text that says 'site of the week'.

cheers

Hi Sam H,

I prefer http://liquid2k.com/computerlinks/pics/sotw.gif Its cleaner and easier to look at, whereas http://liquid2k.com/computerlinks/pics/sotw1.gif is cool but hard on the eyes. Might be just my eyes though. :)

It would be quite handy if you could have two pages. One with each logo. That way we can see it in it's final state.

Hi Sam (gee I like saying that)

The green version is better (site of the wek) as it is the same colour as the Heading and it maintains a theme however with the shadowing it does seem to make it little blurry (using Opera of course).
Happy to say the mouse hover over the links works fine now, all change colour. (sorry bout the dig about spelling, I am not the best myself but when I view pages on the net it is my pet peeve,,,,, especially when Kiwi sites use bloody american spelling eg color, favorites etc etc)

Still the site is looking fine and it has inspired me to get my site up and running again, mine will only be a family orientated site using frontpage, I'm too lazy to work out all that code any more.

keep up the good work

Okay web site has been updated with the green one, but have a look at this page as this has the green one but with a smaller black stroke.
Tell me which one you prefer, small or big stroke??

OK any Opera Users out there can you check the index page of my site at

http://liquid2k.com/computerlinks/index.html

To see if the Green frame that divides the title and main site content stretches right across the page.

Cheers
Sam

do you mean the green frame on the left of the page that has the date in it?

it doesn't stretch across the page..... sorry!
i just put itn through frontpage
it spat out this

<table border="0" width=100% cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" 2%">
<tr><td width="100%" bgcolor="#00cc33" valign="bottom" vspace="0" 100%>

instead of this (the original)
i think there is a " before the first 100% that needs to go......

<table border="0" width="100% hieght="2%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">
<tr><td width="100% hieght="100% bgcolor="#00cc33" valign="bottom" vspace="0">

Cheers Chris, lets hope so. Can all of you generous people that have browsers other than IE6 test the page out again, testing with the likes of Mozzila, Netscape and IE4 and downwards would be great.

Thanks so much you guys have been a great help.
