Does anyone know of a source of a German dictionary that will intergrate into Word 97?

Many thanks...

If you just need a spelling checker.. German Spellchecker (http://www.uni-leipzig.de/~rotheh/mssp2_ge.lex) which you Download into: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof\ assuming your software is on the C: drive.

Cheers, Babe.

Hi Babe

Very many thanks for your help. I grabbed the dictionary from Leipzig University, downloaded, installed and checked it out OK. Works fine - except I don't speak German!

I have a good friend who wrote the book "Strawberries with the Fuhrer" which is presently being translated for publication in Germany. The publisher sent her the first few chapters for approval in RTF and some characters, mostly those with umlaut, are corrupted. This should help her put things right more quickly and make other changes.

Cheers

Bill
