When I re-boot my computer (or sometimes when I am on-line) the screen goes blank and the computer continuously beeps. I then have to power off and start again.

What brand of bios do you have? EG:award,AMI,Pheonix,EtC.
Those beeps are a bit like morse code & you can usually find out what is causing the problem by the way it beeps.
The beeps you describe sound like the video card.
First I would try reseating the video card, especially if the computer has been moved recently.

Cheers Steve
