HPDeskjet 810c Printer

I am having trouble printing a MSWord document- when I do so the words have faint portions in each line. Ihave the settings in the printer set on Best and Colour.If I print a report from say MSMoney the words and figures are perfect,then if I straight away print a word document the words are streaky in the word document.I have just printed a Test page and that too is perfect.Can anyone help me to get a perfect printed Wrd Document- MAny thanks
PS there is plenty of ink in the black cartridge

Word may be doing this on purpose if it has been told to print in draft mode. In Word go to Tools, Options, Print tab and check that the draft output box is not checked. (this may vary slightly depending which version you are using)

Thank you for your reply . Checked that (Word 2000) but draft mode was not checked .
????? Any other suggestions . HAve just printed a Money report nad a Word document and still Word gives 'streaky' letters.
