My comp has decided to say this every time i go to the windows update site;-

'Thank you for your interest in Windows Update

Windows Update is the online extension of Windows that helps you get the most out of your computer.

You must be running a Microsoft Windows operating system in order to use Windows Update.'

since it was probably me who did it, somehow, has anyone any ideas how I'd be able to get this feature working again?

Thanks Tweake,
Now that's an interesting site!
It does detect my OS (XP) and a ton of other stuff, but I guess i'll have to look elsewhere for the IE prob.
I might try a re-install, what do you recon?

shame that site can check my bandwidth speed, as 18kbps seems rather depressing, especially when my modem nearly always shows itself as 48!!..
